Clean XTM Cloud TMX exports
XTM Cloud TMs shared across large localization programs collect duplicates and import debris at scale. Export the TM to TMX and clean it here without disturbing your XTM projects.
━━ the problem
Long-running XTM programs keep every historical translation of a segment. Old and current variants compete; the trusted-reviewer ranking or most-recent strategy picks the authoritative one.
Every TMX round-trip between XTM and a desktop tool can leave orphan tags and encoding glitches. Structural-junk and mojibake classifiers surface and remove them.
Product names and locked terms sometimes get translated in older units. The brand/DNT lock flags units where a protected source term is missing from the target so you can drop them.
━━ how TM Cleaner handles it
Upload the exported TMX, preview duplicates, junk and DNT-violations with the winner of each group, and download a cleaned TM ready to re-import into XTM.

━━ frequently asked
does the cleaned TMX re-import into XTM Cloud?+
yes — it's standard TMX 1.4. import it as you would any TMX. the removed.tmx lets you review exactly what was cut before you commit to the cleaned version.

yes. list your do-not-translate / brand terms; units where one of those appears in the source but is missing from the target are flagged as brand-term-translated so you can drop them.
is my data kept private?+
the upload is deleted the instant cleaning finishes, parsing is XXE-hardened, and download links expire in 24h. no TM content is retained.
